Great day today…smsrvas9809
What do you see when you wake up early in the morning? Some people check the clock, some are running after the sunset, and some definitely check their FACE. Talking about FACE, how do you apply its meaning in biblical knowledge?
F~First seek His Kingdom and His righteousness
A~Appreciation
C~Cost of the Cross
E~Excellent
Matt 6:33..FIRST, we seek His Kingdom and His righteousness and all things added in you
His word, it is subject to honor. And how do you honor someone? Like elderly, parent, employer or teachers? Whether you are a young person, a child, employee or student; apparently there is the right person for us to have a discussion and yet it all refers to our greatest and biggest among all; that is our Creator: God.
Proverbs 22:4; Humility and the fear of the Lord brings wealth and honor and life.
Proverbs 3:9 Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops
1 Tim 6:12 Honor your father and your mother so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you
1 Tim 6:1 All who are under the yoke of slavery should consider their masters worthy of full respect, so that God’s name and our teaching may not be slandered.
1 Pet 2:17 Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, and honor the King.
APPRECIATION: how do you appreciate someone? How do we recognize or judge someone?
2 Tim 2: 15-16 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
The concept of appreciation is to recognize what we have done and recognize a person’s work at value and representing the attitude that approximate to that realization and also giving expression to our sense of their worth.
Proverbs 22:29 Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men
Proverbs 23:1 When you sit to dine with a ruler, note well what (or who) is before you.
COST OF THE CROSS…Matt 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, if anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
As a believer you’ve to bear the cost of the cross; you’ll experience difficulties and trials as you work with Christ. But the rewards are much more than your suffering because you will receive love from God and the promises of eternal life in heaven. In respect to husband and wife : 1 Pet 3:1-6 Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which are of great worth in God’s sight; for this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They submit to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
EXCELLENCE… Philippians 4:8-9 Finally, brothers (and sisters), whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, what is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the peace of God will be with you.
